Fashion Friday: Mono-Chromaticism
There are so many different color codes you can go by when finding your own personal style.
One color combination that is timeless and classic, is an all-black look, or a monochromatic look. For those who don't know, in fashion terms, monochromatic dressing means wearing separates of one color that have different textures and/or similar shades of that color for an overall tonal look.
Dressing in a monochromatic tonal vibe is very sleeking, and allows for your outfit to look very clean cut.
The spring 2018 runways were a masterclass in how to work the look, and this trend will continue into the fall runway shows as well. Wearing multiple layers of varied textures of one color adds depth and dimension to an outfit, while also allowing you to highlight, or downplay, certain parts of your body.
No matter your shape or style, monochromatic looks always look sharp, so don’t be afraid to experiment with it!
