8 Up and Coming Designers to Know in 2019

Members Only has been around for 30 years, but every great designer starts somewhere. We’re all about showcasing up and coming designers so we’re here to tell you eight of our favorites for 2019. Bonus points if you pair one of these pieces with your favorite Members Only jacket.

Rotate

This Copenhagen-based creates ‘80s-ready dresses along with bold silhouettes. Founded by two Danish influencers – Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars – their first collection launched in fall 2018 but their party dresses are a favorite among the Instagram crowd. Shop Rotate here.

Pyer Moss

Despite being in founded in 2013 by Kerby Jean-Raymond, Pyer Moss recently captured the attention of the fashion industry with their fall 2018 New York Fashion Week show. The show merged activism and social conversation by celebrating black culture. Their claim to fame is a new take on streetwear and their advocation for black culture. Check out Pyer Moss here.

Bande Noir

Bande Noir only has one collection under their belt, but that’s all they needed. Former editor and stylist Mayte Allende is the creative director and brings a mix of ‘80s and ‘90s silhouettes with delicate details. They play on femininity with unexpected details like open-back turtlenecks or sheer puff-sleeved blouses. Shop Bande Noir here.

16Arlin

For your next night out, consider the UK brand 16Arlin. With their sequin suits, feathered trim, and crystal-embellished denim is already a favorite for red carpet goers. The brand dressed several attendees at the 2018 British Fashion Awards. Don’t be surprised if 16Arlin becomes a favorite among the fashion crowd and A-listers. Check out 16Arlin here.

Arje

Arje is both a menswear and womenswear company that has been hailed as a “see-now, buy now brand” created by husband and wife team Bessie Afnaim Corral and Oliver Corral. They launch three collections per year – with pieces available to shop within two weeks of debut. Arje offers pieces like chunky knits, shearling coats, and other wardrobe essentials. Shop Arje here.

Tach Clothing

Tach Clothing shot to fame thanks to their Instagram-worthy cropped cardigan. But the famous cropped cardigan is just one piece of the Tach Clothing puzzle. They boast pieces like vintage-inspired blouses and cool jackets (well, almost as cool as Members Only jackets). The pieces are designed and handmade in Uruguay. Be prepared to see them explode on the fashion scene. Shop Tach Clothing here.

Kelsey Randall

Kelsey Randall is based in Brooklyn and creates custom made-to-order pieces that redefines the “couture” scene for the younger consumers. Randall’s pieces include music festival-ready pieces, romantic baby doll dresses, and more. Lorde wore her designs on stage, so you know she’s no joke. Check out Kelsey Randall here.

Orseund Iris

Like Tach Clothing, Orseund Iris also creates Instagram-worthy pieces – like their silk, open back blouse. The brand offers a range of seasonless pieces and have quickly became a favorite for the “cool girl” looking for new wardrobe essentials. Expect to see this New York-based brand take over the fashion scene. Check out Orseund Iris here

If you’re the type that likes to pair old-school and new-school fashion, try pairing one of these designer’s pieces with your favorite Members Only jackets. Check out our collection of jackets here.
