How to Wear It: Festival Edition: South by Southwest
Festivals are undoubtedly best known for their musical guest and celebrity sightings. In the past few years, though, fashion has become an integral part in these week-end to week-long venues. Now festival-goers are going for music, celebs, AND fashion. South by Southwest is kicking off this Friday in Austin, TX and in honor of the two-week event, we’re bringing you a “How to Wear It: Festival Edition: South by Southwest”. Even if you’re not able to go, take a break from the winter blues and below freezing temps and at least dress (or pretend) like you’ll be there.
Ladies: If you saw just one picture of past festivals, you will notice one thing: bright colors. This year’s festivals are no different. It’s as if you’re shedding your black winter coat (figuratively and literally) and morphing into a bright, new coat, and what better way than with our Women's Tweed Varsity Jacket. In three festival-worthy colors: Burgundy, Navy, and Camel, this women's varsity jacket will keep you looking cool during the day and keeping you warm during the chilly nights. A versatile jacket, it can be worn with anything and everything. For day, pair with a lightweight, cotton t-shirt, floral silky shorts or high-waisted denim shorts, and some gladiator sandals or ankle booties. For night, change into jeans (any jeans will work - skinny, boyfriend, distressed) and keep that t-shirt and ankle booties (hey, we know suitcases are limiting!) or pair with some flats.
Men: Jump on the bright color bandwagon this festival season with our Men's Varsity Jacket. In a light-weight cotton blend and three colors: Lagoon, Royal Blue, and Sunset, there are plenty of options for a great outfit. For day, pair this varsity jacket with chino shorts or anything denim and neutral colored t-shirt along with boat shoes or non-athletic sneakers. For night, wear with jeans and keep the t-shirt and shoes or change into loafers for a less casual look.
The Summer Varsity Jackets are versatile and can work with just about any outfit. They are the ultimate staple item for your festival wardrobe.
